Anyone know of companies which organise more adventurous holidays for folks of the older persuasion? Post-retirement types who fancy something other than a package or a cruise?

Companies like Explore, Exodus and the like do loads of what are essentially package holidays but to more unusual places. I’ve never used Exodus but the trips that I’ve been on with Explore certainly had some older people on them and I expect that the trip I’m going on in June to central asia will have people who are “more mature”. Just make sure that you are physically up for what they say and if you are not prepared to rough it then chose the trips at the more comfortable end of what they offer.

Thanks that is useful. It might be waht i am looking for but would prefer one which caters predominantly for older folks. If such a thing exists, sort of Saga, but more rough.
