Any ideas on an experience type wedding gift?

The couple haven’t asked for presents, no wedding list etc. so we were thinking of getting something for them to do rather than put in a cupboard.

Hot air balloon is always a classic, anything more interesting though?

budget is up to the cost of a hot air balloon ride!

One thing to be careful of is that a lot of other people might be thinking the same.

It seems that people think we’re quite an experience-y couple, so we got a lot of vouchers that would have taken quite some organising to do all of them. With house hunting, moving, other weddings and just stuff, we ended up paying to extend some, and unfortunately, more than we’re happy with expired. Feel really bad about those, there was a lot of thought that went into them, and they all would have been fun.

A couple of our friends gave us a hand made “Epic Voucher” – photo collage of fun stuff, instructions to find something epic to do on our honeymoon and some money towards it. We thought of them when we went rafting, and still have that association with them when we remember they helped us do it.

Tandem hire, or a tandem-cycling weekend break?
