Anyone had any luck exchanging something they have used once? Just got a pair of Time mtb shoes from CRC and both feet have had skin taken off below ankle from them rubbing. They are not faulty I dont think, just not compatible with my feet! Cheers folks. (I have never purchased footwear mail order for that reason! Should know better shouldn't I?)

Even returning faulty stuff to CRC is a PITA, their warrenty support is woefull.
Good luck with returning non-faulty items!
[smug mode]I never buy mail-order clothes for this very reason. Unless I've tried a one on in a 'proper' shop first[/smug mode]Posted 8 months ago # -
I've never had a problem with CRCs returns. Always found them quick and helpful.
But as for the shoes - no chance. They are not faulty you should have tried them round the house properly first. Maybe you just need to break them in more before you give up on them - try some thicker socks and tighten them up to stop them slipping.

SPD shoes will have fitting marks on the soles from the cleats and if you wore them outside they are bound to be dirty so I doubt they'll accept them back. Would you be happy it you received a pair of shoes that had been used and returned?
