I have some new bearings for my canyon spectral. Some of the bearings have two colours of seal, blue and black. I guess they are angular bearings e.g. 7901rs/7902 rs

which way do they go? which colour faces out from the bike?

    thanks

Here they say “red faces out” :), so probably yours are not ACB. On the ABEC 3 page they have the blue ones and the blue faces out as well.

No, both shells are cylindrical and will happily go in both ways.

black side slightly thicker inner ring, blue slightly thinner.

    sounds like blue out?

As Enduro told us for our stock ‘Never black out”

Probably late, but but the load is applied to the inner ring on the black seal side of the bearing. I’m pretty sure, that on Canyon Nerve/Spectral/Strive/Torque should be mounted by black side facing out.
