How on earth do I fix the crappy belt thing? I am seriously tempted by some roadie braces…

    Rope Cleatus…

Never found this problem myself on my gridlocks, Is the belt slipping from it’s tightened position. Could try a normal canvas belt as an alternative

I have given up on the belts, I just use a Animal canvas belt.

man and I thought I’d get ridiculed to hell for asking “what braces” to keep up my Endura and Altura shorts. Thoughly sick of trying to keep the damned things up (endura crap belts when not clicked into shorts and the altura are actually too big round the waist since I slimmed down a bit.. just a bit)

Senior, any you particularly recommend? Was kinda assuming to go for something no-metallic, but am happy to be guided…

Clip on braces from army surplus shops work a treat, Go for wide 3 to 4 cm ones. Loads on ebay

I got the heavy duty ones with clips – foolishly –
    they are about 5cm wide!!
But they work and cost about £12.
I use them for various waterproof/windproof trouser/short combos and they do what they are there for.
Underneath a couple of layers you forget you have them on.
Folks have been using bibs for yonks ,I don’t see any difference.

Why not buy some novelty ones?
