So I would “like” an Endura MT 500 but at the moment £170 quid is a bit pricey.

Are there any alternative brands who offer the same sort of cut and waterproofness for a fraction of the price??? I could wait a bit but I really need to get something now.

    So any good alternatives?

I bought a Polaris X0 Storm Jacket in a sale last winter for £60 or so (RRP about £140). Just had a look and you can find them for similar prices on line.

Very good fit on or off the bike, 3 layers, comfy, not too hot, properly waterproof too.

When it comes to quality waterproof, breathable, robust jackets imo you get what you pay for (RRP).

I got one last week cyclestore/ leisure lakes had the best price online

Such a nice jacket, as the review above, I,ve not warn it for mtb yet, had it in my pack today over cutgate, but the £60 mt500 jersey was plenty for the cold muddy day, with no rain

The gore gtx paclite is £80 on sportshoes which is a great price

The mt500 II jacket is excellent but it does come up small.
