    yesterday was a sad day…

I’ve finally had to go 9 speed. The 8 speed cassettes were making a real mess of my pro 2 cassette body and I’ve been thinking about swapping it over.. so now I’m SLX’d up and very nice it is to..!

7-speed gripshift on our tandem – its a complete and utter PITA. Can’t wait to get rid.

9 Speed (& I aint changing) will do the same, but it only make a mess, not seen anyone completely right one off (though a post the other week claimed to have – didn’t prove it with piccy’s though). Get a replacement steel freehub if it matters that much to you.

Pah! Anything more than 5 speed is just girlie.

Mind you, that is on my old road bike. My merlin has the usual 9 speeds.
