I have attempted to sell an item on Ebay – twice it has sold and twice the buyer hasn’t paid.

I have opened cases and had fees credited back to my account but why is it that this doesn’t result in them getting negative feedback of any kind (I can’t leave them feedback as I have been refunded) but to anyone else, these people still have good Ebay records.

They have a non-payment mark against them. Too many and ebay can sanction them.

Sellers have long not been able to leave -ve feedback to avoid tit for tat feedback wars.

It irks me a little bit but rarely have had a problem.

You can also leave +ve feedback along the lines of ‘Great buyer – never paid me. Marked as non-paying buyer’.

I always have a quick scout through the feedback of the highest bidder on my stuff to see if there’s anything like that on their account

I guess you have to leave that feedback before opening a case though (I cannot find an option to leave feedback now I have been credited).
