    i’m sure i ask this every year…

where should MsWife and I go for a few days VTT’ing? good weather, mountains, chairlifts, mellow singletrack.

no, not morzine; too busy, too gnar.

go to Morzine…but dont do the DH trails 🙂

There are Plenty of more chilled trails around the PDS that you can access off the lift network without having to over indulge the gnar.

I rarely ride the DH trails save for making the odd link. But using mosettes to ride into Switzerland, or Pleney to explore around the back of Les Gets, Mont Chery lift to get over to the Roc d’Enfer etc.

This book is excellent for ideas

What stoner said. There’s a huge range of trails and it’s pretty empty as soon as you head away from the bike parks. I’ve ridden in quite a few places and struggling to think of anywhere with as many easy trails that are so easy to access. Might not tick the weather box. That’ll be complete pot luck as you get all sorts there.

Verbier, easy train ride from Geneva airport. and just follow your nose. plenty of tracks if you don’t want the bike park and a lot of lifts to get you around.
