Sent my drivers license off for change of address, this was 3 weeks ago, how long before I should be getting worried it’s gone astray?

When you pass your test, the examiner says the licence will be back in about 3-4 weeks, normally it’s quicker than that so I’d give the DVLA a call today.

Have you checked the post at the old address?

I applied for a new photo license and it was with me in a couple of days.

I think the official DVLA time span is two weeks though…

Wife got hers back (a renewal) yesterday after 3 days.

Just phoned them it is in the system. Just have to sit tight.

Client had to send his off last week (Monday) for a change of address and had it back on Saturday of the same week. I’d be calling them.

Recorded delivery next time!

And quick call to them.

Sent our sons off and I think it was just over 4 weeks before it was returned.
