just got a new pc and it runs on mozilla thunderbird for the email…im having quite few issues with it.the main one being when i write an email and press send it takes ages…upto an hour or more to send it.im not sending anything big just a bit of words….

any ideas?? 🙄

I don;t use thunderbird but I imagine there's a 'send receieve every n minute's option somewhere. You shoudl be able to change that to 'send as soon as soemthigns ready to go' and 'receive every n minutes'. That way it sends when you want but only checks for new mail periodiacally
