Mallards in particular keep landing on my workroom roof (in the attic) which is above our bedroom, mostly at night and scared me so much, I leapt into the arms of hubby.

    Is this normal behaviour?

Yes it’s normal behaviour because leaping into anyone else’s arms would be wrong.

The cynic in me thinks your husband has paid the ducks to scare you, in order to jump start some rumpy pumpy. Think about it, who is there to comfort you when these rapist ducks have scared you?

If this is the case, check his finances, as they would have given him a bill.

That’s not scary until you have giant rats (not here but in the far east) running and partying in the ceiling at night. Then you see urine patches on the ceiling after a while. Basically, at night I would hear “thump” “thump” “thump” where they run around chasing eat other.

    Damn! 😯

I had a conversation with one of our students the other day, who didn’t understand where all the ducks had come from all of a sudden- after all, everyone knows ducks can’t fly.

So if she’s right- WHAT’S ON YOUR ROOF? If I was you, I’d burn the house down just in case.

Mmmm Barbecue duck, may well be worth it.
