Any tinkerers that have taken apart a DTSwiss XRC?
My little guys fork rebound is super slow.. mostly beacause when I played with the fork, i slowed down the rebound but alas, returning the knob to its original position didn’t change the rebound speed back.
So, i can slow it down more, but cant make it any faster than where I’ve slowed it down to…
guesses before I tear apart the fork to trouble shoot?

I’m quite a fan of DT forks. I had a similar issue with wife’s xrc100, needed an oil change and thorough flushing through of damper. Not sure what vintage yours are, hers are circa 2009.

unsure what year, but they were NOS a month ago.. 10 rides.
Crazy light but huge stiction.. almost terra logic-esque but butter smooth once they get started!

Hmmm, something doesn’t sound very well. With the damper unit and air spring removed be worth checking condition of bushes if you do tear down – they’re painfully thin compared to Fox or Rockshox equivalents.

Very interested to hear how you get on – I plan to continue to run our DT forks for a while longer.
