I've got some wheels with DT Swiss EX500 rims. I picked up some cheap EX5.1 rim strips with the intention of giving tubeless a try, if I fit these with valves, some sealant and some non UST Maxxis Highrollers will it all work OK? I've got folding and wire bead Highrollers if it makes a difference.

Only asking 'cos the the DT Swiss website states "Attention: Only for UST tubeless tires!"

I used to run my 5.1s with non-UST conti's. No problems (other than the tyres being a bit rubbish!).

Now on UST High-Rollers though.

Sounds promising, also found some stuff on MTBR suggesting it'll work fine.
