As above. Available online fairly cheap….. why…?

    For my DH bike

Because the sponsored DH cool kids have switched to the lighter EX rated enduro rims.

The FR’s are heavier but tougher, a better bet if you pay for your own kit.

Which is why I’ve got EX471 with 350 hubs on my Nomad.

That said, it’s not a DH bike. I just wanted tough enough for uplift days, but not too heavy.

Good strong well made rim. I had one on my trail bike. Too heavy for that but ideal for DH bike. Should be resistant to dings and went tubeless fine.

I’ve just noticed they a Schrader valve. I’ve always used presta tubeless…. how does that work then?

I have the rims, got them for piece of mind toughness and they use ‘normal’ spokes and nipples.

The rim is supplied with a removable insert for a presta valve so it doesn’t wobble about.

Use my rims with procore successfully!
