eldest_oab has an FPV drone with Walkera Googles4.
He is trying to record video – and so far has bought a couple of devices to unsuccessfully do this. There doesn’t seem to be a drone club locally.

    Can anyone help?
He has the googles connected to an EasyCap device (with the 007 chip as suggested online). The laptop recognises it instantly, as video and sound device. However it will not display any output. I’ve updated drivers, faffed with settings and channels to no avail.
We have connected it to android phone (Sony), and downloaded the EasyCapture app, which again recognises the device but does not display anything.

I am wondering if either Googles output or the EasyCap device is goosed….

I am way out my understanding too – and he just wants to buy *another* device from the internet to record stuff, at more cost…

Can you either help with what the issue is OR suggest a ‘failsafe’ other box/device that he can record from…

    Thanks in advance.

Matt, can’t really help but I have 3 cameras that he could try and see if any of them work? Sj4000 wifi, sj4000-copy (no wifi) and a Drift Ghost HD.
