Considering driving up to Aviemore/Cairngorms for a bit of boarding tomorrow.
However, Id just be in my Focus, standard tires, no snow chains.
Bad idea, or should it be OK?

Decent FWD car you should be fine.

They're pretty good on treating/clearing the roads so unless there's a load of new snow or bad drifting you'll make it OK.
