    Hello

I have a friend who works in a hardwarestore, i need it for a bit of wrenching, and working on a new house, -wooden construction.

So which of them is the most reliable and so on?

    Thanks!

Both good. Have a small 10v Metabo for fine work and an 18v Makita.
Neither are from the cheaper end of the scale.

I’d go for Makita. Both are reliable and good but if you are buying into a system the Makita will give you more options to add tools using the same battery at a reasonable cost

I’ve had an 18v Makita for about 7 or 8 years with absolutely no issues, but I’m only a DIY’R not a trades man. Would recommend one.

I’ve had my Makita lxt 202 kit since 2008 and although it’s a bit scruffy looking still working strong. Having said that my Metabo SDS from the same year is just as good. So there you go both good but it’s your personal choice.

I’ve been renovating my house and have 10.8 and 18v makita kit, I can’t fault it.
