  • Don't have a tumble dryer….can I use a hair dryer to rewaterproof?

Done a Grangers 2in1 wash and proof and now need to fix. Ironing seems a faff. Can I blast it with a hairdryer? If so how long do it need to be cooked?

    Thanks

I’ve always used a cool iron. Note emphasis on cool.

Can you get to a laundrette? (sp.)

I used a microwave for years. Until I put some gloves on too long and shrunk them to ant size.

Microwave …I’m sure Mrs CJR would be very impressed!

Line dry then cool iron (no steam) through a tea towel. Hang in airing cupboard or by boiler for a day or so. What you want to do is really, really dry it out.

I have used a launderette in the past to do this
