GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING:
I'm having my first child in March. It's going to be a boy and I've bought it a fleece robot, rather than a teddy bear (I like robots).
My back is better and I did quite well in the cyclocross on Sunday.
I like my job and have been informed that it's unlikely the government will sack me.
It's December next week. This means it's nearly Christmas. I noticed a package recently delivered to my wife had a Morvelo stamp on it. This means I'll get a present I like.
I'm moving closer to the beach on Saturday. Pre-work surfs will be much easier from then-on.
It's November. Yes, it's dark and cold. How much fun is night-riding though? Took my mate on his first night session recently and his grin was infectious.

I think it's because you have been on here to long. I have used the forum since 2007 nearly every topic is the same, you have read it all. Even if I use the forum for 1 hour a day it is reasonably boring. Plus any good topic seems to last around 10 replies until the same old names turn it into an argument.
Go buy yourself a new bike that'll cheer you up.

I'm pretty happy right now. Got amazing partner who I luv. Course work and college life going well. Even housemates are mostly a good laugh and loads of mates. Wish I had more money (don't we all) I wish partners mum would give the bitching a rest.
On the whole can't complain

Anyone know anything about Genesis road and cyclocross bikes
Not a bloody thing but I am seriously considering buying one of those Genesis Day-one Alfine jobs and using for my not inconsiderable commute. Looks gorgeous and I suspect it will be as quick as hell.
Vroooommmmm (just to avoid sounding downbeat you understand)

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you
THE POWERBLAND
i have found that the red rubber bands droped by postmen work as good (if not better) than powerbands. Sort of Kabbalah powerbands.

Ive had a great year, but if I mention it then the grumpy lefties think I'm gloating and supressing the proles.

November has been alright for me...
Finally fitted coil 454 U-Turn Pikes to my HT, it's better than ever.
Surfing the (not all that bad, honest) artificial surf reef in Boscombe a fair bit.
Have passed the point where running was hurting, after a long period of laziness.
Have been to watch Les Savy Fav, The Wedding Present and Atari Teenage Riot and will be going to see Leftfield on Friday.
Potential new relationship with my sixth form college crush coming along nicely.
If I can quit smoking and secure a decent new house share, that'll be the icing on the cake.

I kissed a real life actual girl last night, and I liked it.
