I think some of our kit would do most of what you want. Apologies if this is way off budget, but I’m proud of what we do. Looking on the bright side, if your wife’s insisting on this functionality, that’s a new bike ticket 😉

Can rip to local storage up to 20000 tracks, then serve this music across your network
Plenty of inputs for TV, PS4 etc, Airplay, Chromecast, Internet Radio
All inputs can multiroom to other Uniti – would have to check if CD does
S/W update coming soon for multiroom to Mu-so, our wireless speakers:

I think the point of Sonos is streaming, not playing cd’s through them.

I got around that by streaming my CD player to Sonos
