  • Does shock eye to eye length have any bearing on the spring needed?

Spring on my Morewood is a 400lbx 2.75, its a 222mm i2i Pushed DHX. 7.1 inches of travel, and it feels right.

Spring on my Foes is a 450lb x 2.75, its a 279mm i2i Pushed Vanilla. 7.5 inches of travel and it feels soft.

Mojo and TFTuned both suggest a 350/400lb for the Foes going by the calculator.

Previous rider on the Foes is about 12 stone, and said it felt ideal for him. It was pushed before I got it- so not tuned for me. I'm 11 stone max and it seems soft- so is the shock spring too light (and does the fact the i2i is longer have any impact)?

No, no relevence what so ever, what does matter is the shock stroke and suspension travel

Both 2.75 stroke! Will be getting the shock serviced soon, and TFTund will no doubt tweak the Push tune so that may change things..

What he said. Plus rider weight, riding style and terrain being ridden 🙂
