Etyres have cancelled twice to replace my spare tyre MOT tomorrow, so not enough time to get it done, will they check it is ok or just the fact a spare is present ?

If I recall correctly….If a spare is present it must be roadworthy and legal, a spare does not have to be present to pass an MOT.

No need to remove, as above:
“This inspection applies toTyres fitted to the road wheels only. The vehicle presenter should be informed when it is noticed that there is a defective tyre on a spare wheel.”

    No you don’t need one.

    Until you have a puncture.

    Get it fixed.
