At least a couple and probably more - Mavic & Rigida, I would say it's more likely to be the latter.

I wasn't orrible to him. But marketing, particularly subversive marketing, is surely against the terms of usage? I thought the abuse he received was to be expected. Did he apologise? I don't thinks so.
If I saw an apology and a promise to play fair in future, then I'd accept him back.

Sorry but he wasn't bullied.
He came here slagging off customers and then doing various underhand things as I posted above. It's not 'agressive marketing'. Posting quite openly as himself and saying why his opposition's products weren't as good as his or just that they were crap would be agressive marketing.
People didn't like it and told him so. That's not bullying.

I think some people made some quite personal remarks. That seems like bullying to me.
I don't condone what he did, but the resultant witch-hunt/mob mentality was a little ugly in my opinion.

Can't say that I saw any but I didn't see all the posts so there could have been. All the ones I saw were just slagging him off for being a tw@ which seemed reasonable enough given his behaviour.

he was bullied, fred was bullied, frenchie was bullied and a few others too.
it happens a lot on here, a certain few try it all the time.
thing is, when it is returned they tend to get very upset and start the accusations............it is all good fun..

I am probably one of the folk refereed to as bullies and perhaps I did go OTT at him. He had threatened me and made scurrilous remarks about me and aaccused me of doing things I had not done.
However he continued to post on here after I had stopped and he then posted under a different name masquerading as a customer of his promoting his products which is Illegal and unethical. I assume he was banned for that - certainly he has not been caught doing this again.
Pretending to be a satisfied customer when he is actually the retailer is illegal.

No offence to anyone but most mountain bikers esp at trail centres (except for those who look like builders) were probably bullied at school.
Let face it - most of you are probably sub-13stone, weedy and nervous around ladies.....bingo!
