    Does anyone make…a 29" bike with rigid forks and either a shimano alfine or Rohloff hub? off the shelf bike?

    Must do, but look for them being marketed as 700c, not 29er.

    Don't Trek do one? May be belt drive.

    I was looking for a mountain bike that I could use over the winter as basically a maintenance free mud plugger.
