@trusty thats what happened to mine but only after 3 rides one wet ride at afan and the bearings were creaking ,stripped them down at home and they were shot,i had to drill out the pivot bolts as they were fuses with permanamt loctice
crc sent me new bearings & pivot bolt kit-this is when it turned ugly
n/s r chainstay bolt threads were not fully threaded through so bolt just spun
tons of swarf in frame so bearings were never seated right in the frame
i had to get arsey with crc until they agread to refund me -i sent them the email from hotlines who admitted the mega 290 first batch were of poor quality .
i perosnaly think there all like that
shame as the bike rode unbeliebly well
never again though
