    Just wondering if they will need bleeding as I need a new set of pads, but it won’t leave enough room for the rotor.

    Avid brakes.

    Push them back/apart with a flat bladed screw driver and replace pads. They should be as good as new then.

    Yeah, Avid pads are a piece of pee to fit, as long as you get the pistons all the way back. I use two flat bladed screwdrivers – one against the other.
