I’m fed up of buying bubble mixture for my children but the home-made stuff I make is just not as good as the stuff you buy in shops.
I’ve tried adding sugar to it as I hear that makes the mixture stronger and it’s helped a a little but what else can I do to help me make big strong bubbles?

Glycerin and Fairy is my go-to, but it’s still not great.

I spoke to a guy at Maker Faire who was making giant bubbles with various devices:

His secret ingredient was veterinary lubricant.

    So… um… yeah. 😕

Hmm, not sure how easy it will be to get veterinary lubricant in deepest darkest London.
That last site mentioned Guar gum – I’ve got xantham gum – anyone know if it’s similar?
Glycerin sounds like a good place to start.

Thanks – I hadn’t heard of Amazon before – sounds like it might have a future.

Can’t see it catching on myself. People love going out in the rain to actual shops where they can smell other humans.
