    Anyone else suffer from this?

My rear disc brake, sends vibrations up through my (Carbon – which could be the problem?) frame, seatpost & saddle.

Pleasant you may think, but not at all, I have to stand up most of the time!! 😆

Tried disc brake cleaner, but has no effect, (and yes on the discs not my nads).

I get it from time to time on my Inbred, and the times I get it is usually only when I am dragging the brake. Never found out why it comes and goes though…

I had the very same problem on my commuter.
Sand the pads and the rotors.
Remove rotor from wheel and ensure flush fitting.
Re-fit rotor, getting bolts evenly tight.
    Clean with IPA.
Clean (and maybe face if this doesn't work) IS tab on frame.
Put it all back together nice and tight.
Secure hose to frame w/ zip-ties.
    Centre caliper.

    Hope that helps,

I had it on my 456 when I put Hope M4s on. Wasn't sure what it was and I never go to the bottom of it (so to speak). Only really noticeable on road as i tended to be bouncing around too much to notice off road.

Change from wavy rotors to shimano circle – solved my vibration.

Same as Wally for me, not necessarily the cause of your problem, but it's fairly easy to see how a disc with an inconsistent braking surface could cause vibrations.

Stick a nice blob of grease on the back of your pads, should help to ease the vibration.

Be careful not to get it on the contact side or you will have to buy new pads 🙂
