A few weeks ago, I started a thread on the idea of digital addiction, based on an article that some of you (probably rightly) called click-bait.

The thing is, while there were some very good points made in the thread to soften my perspective, it does seem as if there is a growing instinct that says something is worrying about the exponential increase in the use of digital technology (smart phones, the internet, etc.).

In any case, this article from The Atlantic takes the argument further, if from a different perspective.

I am not sure that we have as much control over our use of the technology as we can glibly think we have.
