    Anybody tried this? Deore M595 brake calipers with XT (or SLX etc.) servo brake levers. Any noticeable performance increase?

    I would say probably yes. Currently run M595s on one mike and M775 on another. The M775s have more power.
    The calipers are pretty similar, just the XT ones are 1 piece.
    Definitley worth a try.

    It will work fine. All shimano calipers work with all shimano levers. Just check the hose connections (some are straight, some banjo)

    Interesting, I have both as well (plus a M775 set that I’ve sold) and think M595 have more power. Certainly the M595 are brand new and have brand new pads and all, but I don’t remember the M775 to be as powerful out of the box.
