I’m about to charge my battery for the first time, does it require a longer charge time for its first charge?

Also, i’m not going to use it now until next week. Does it hold its charge well? Or is it better to charge it the night before?

No idea but I think not – just leave it until the little light on the charger goes green.

Probably, but when I’ve not bothered I’ve still got 2 hours odd out of it (i.e. it was still working when I finished riding…)

Instructions say you are supposed to leave a Lion battery on cahge for about 12-14hrs for the first charge, then after that just til the green light comes on. Not sure if that is bollocks or not!
