I just got home from work, and learnt that earlier today, right at the top of my street, a cyclist got hit by two cars and killed.

I ride that street every single day, twice a day, and really can’t believe it. I just can’t help but think of the man – in his early 50s – going out on his bike and not returning home.

That sounds rather bad…1 car isn’t good but 2 cars…not a pleasant thought.

It’s sobering. A good friend of mine died on a main road just 5 minutes from mine that I use every week, it all seems a bit more real then doesn’t it?
