Make sure you use sintered pads and be prepared to replace every moving part on your bike after the dalby paste has ground it away.

We rode Dalby black and other trails in the forest in the wet over the Easter weekend. Gritty but grippy. Great fun.

dalby is great in the wet,loads of grip. definitely harsh on componets though.

Presume you’ll be on the World Cup course. It’s pretty dirty in places,
especially Worry Gill. There seems to be a lot of organic has creeped onto the trail in places. I presume it must be you we were preparing the trail for last weekend.

It was utter carnage. We counted four ambulances there at the same time, I smashed my new forks to bits and strained my groin(!). 650mile round trip for 10 minutes riding….

Really! The course was massively cut up, which was a shame because it looked like it would be really good in the dry. Proper technical, just a shame it was such a sh1tfest. Small Block-8’s weren’t really the tyre of choice either…

How did you get on at Gorrick?
