Looking to do a midweek/overnight visit, can anyone recommend any good accommodation nearby?

    Hotel, B&B, Hostel, anything considered.

    Many thanks for any info….

High Rigg Farm camping pods are nice and right on the trails. Not so handy for the pub….

…but there’s a cracking pub around a mile from High Rigg, can’t get much closer 😉

YHA in Lockton, various B&B’s in Thornton and Pickering or if you want moorland riding on your doorstep, The Horseshoe Inn in Levisham is a nice option

I stayed at The New Inn in Thornton Dale the other weekend – 49 quid including breakfast.

If I was in the area, I’d happily go back…

    Do you like beer?

A few years ago, it’s a pub & b&b that is owned by The Great Yorkshire Brewery.

We rode in the morning and did the brewery tour in the afternoon. Decent pub food too.

    About 15 minutes from Dalby.
