I’m looking for a DAB radio for my workshop/garage, as I’m fed up of continually re-tuning the old FM thing that I have in order to find a good signal and being unable to listen to anything at all when using my Dewalt charger due to interference.

It needs to run from mains, and ideally should be on the robust side. It doesn’t need to be in any way pretty. The cheaper the better ( as long as it works well ). What do you recommend ?

I’ve got a Sony one that lives in the shed and is covered in paint/grease. Can work of batteries too. Xdr something or other.

Another vote for Pure DAB radios; one in garage, one in kitchen and another that I use* in my classroom/workshop at school.

    * 6Music; the kids don’t get a choice in the matter.

I just got the cheapest one in Sainsbury’s and it works a treat!

Pure One in my garage, works great. My wife paid £3 for it at a boot fair. It is pink though…..

I have a Pure one Mi which I use around the house, was expensive with the optional charger pack, but it too is good.

    Pure one mini for me.

Great sound, small, solidly made and a line in for a media player/phone, etc.
