  • Cycle shorts – repairs and alterations – anyone?

I have a pair of Endura bib shorts that the pad is coming away from. The short material is still good so worth repairing IMHO. I know that Endura have done this for me in the past. However I also have a pair of XL shorts to accommodate my vast girth but this results in the legs being baggy. As such they ride up as the leg grippers aren't gripping anything and can get uncomfortable as they ruck up in the crotch. So I'd ideally like to have a dart put in the outside of each leg to tighten them up.

Anyone know of any "mail order" services for this kind of work. There are a few seamstress places where I live but I wonder if they would know how to do the work and get the stitching right to allow for the elastic movement of the material.

    Thanks if you can help.
