Can somebody recommend me a good mtb shoe for cx.

Idealy something grippy, good to run in and easy to hose down and dry afterwards.

I chose Giro Privateers this year for cross. They seem a good compromise. Seemed a good choice without being an out and out race shoe.

These from wiggle are worth a look.

My Spesh Experts are brilliant, stiff on the bike, grippy off the bike

The Giro are a little bit more than I really want to spend on a mtb shoe .. sub £80 ideally.
Col – I did look at the DHB ones. Just not really want a ratchet strap and they didnt seem to have much grip underneath.
You right about my existing shoes though. They get wet within seconds, take an age to dry .. and offer no grip. Luckilly they ripped when I fell off today lol
