I have possibly got myself a 2010/11 Boardman CX bike. However for about another £100 extra I could possibly get a newer 12/13 version with discs.

The 2010 bike is already at the top end of my budget, but am I stupid if I do not pay that bit more ?

The bike will be used for commuting, occasional CX race, hopefully 3 peaks, and times when I get bored of the full susser.

    What do you think?

For another £100 I’d not hesitate

Depends, do you prefer brakes that work, or brakes that don’t work? 🙂
