Popped to cwmcarn for a loop this morning, ended up riding to the top where the 2 dh runs start. The black was closed off but the red was open, so off I went expecting the normal descent but when I got round the first bend I found it had a newly cut section adding more speed, flow and drops leading the turns before the tunnel where there are now big (brechfa raven style) berms so you again you can carry lots of speed.

After the tunnel it’s mostly the same but had some maintenance to keep it in shape and running fast. Very enjoyable morning and a nice change from BPW.

Now looking forward to see what the black trail has had done whenever it opens. I definitely recommend a visit.
