When do you think the bomb dropped and he found out that he could not pedal and steer at the same time?

Just needs a few meters of brake cable linking another set of bars welded to the top tube, about where the originals would have been, but what a completely daft thing to do to a bicyle!

Surely, it just needs a pseudo-set of handle bars in the normal position with links to the actual handlebars?

I doubt it would be too nimble on singletrack though and I imagine it would be a bit flexy.

I suppose if you put a front seat near the bars you could have someone sat up front to steer. A small child, or a dwarf. Or maybe a really well trained monkey. Once someone else was doing the steering and braking (assuming you could find a 3-metre brake cable) you’d be free to really pedal hard. Which you’d need to to keep the weight of all that scaffolding pole and the monkey moving.

    🙄
