Similar quest here. Second hand XS Defy seems like the best bet, just waiting for a good one to pop up…

Triban looks good value but the small ones are 650 wheels.

Got a near new old stock 1999 49 cm Kona Kapu frame fork, brand new FSA Orbit X headset and Ultegra 6700 double front mech available for £200.

Would build into a real nice road bike.

I’d agree with a used XS Defy – if you can find one. Just sold an XS Avail Tiagra and it went for £400. They make very few XS frames and they sell out pretty quickly.

XS Giant would be a good shout. I have a small Giant road bike(46.5cm according to Giant). Fits a 5ft 7″ me like a glove
