I need someone to talk sense to me…

Have a 725 croix I built a year ago from a frame set, it’s comfy, handles well, I could go bike packing on it
But even with a reasonable build it’s 24lbs and the frame is a bit tank like

I keep toying with a Swiss cross frame set , would be about 2lb lighter, is proper skinny and looks lush

I don’t race cx and never plan to again (tried it once)
I just trail ride and longer gravel stuff, did the dirty reiver on the genesis
Also gets used for road rides

Thoughts?
