My 12 year old daughter received a creepy phone call to her mobile today which freaked her out – don’t know if it was a creep or some kids having “fun” but the caller number didn’t show – this is fortunately the first time this has happened and hopefully the last but is there some avenue to find the callers number so I can report this?

you can report it to the network. Worth seeing if they can block all withheld numbers? Or just tell her not to answer numbers she doesnt know or are witheld.

Might be worth bringing it to the attention of the police as well.

And don’t answer withheld numbers.

Can’t you set the phone to ignore all numbers that aren’t in the contacts list and/or withheld. I know i can. Can either set the phone to bounce them to answerphone or just ignore them.

tbh it wouldnt be a bad idea to block all numbers not in the phone book on a childs phone. At very least all witheld numbers.
