If you can feel play there then surely they aren't safe to ride. I know I wouldn't. How old are they? Which model? Have you spoke with Mojo?

For the last 2 summers I have had a new csu fitted to my fox vanillas due to a loose steer tube in the crown it causes a creak/ clicking noise my forks were originally new in autumn 08 it's quite handy as each time it's been replaced it's like having a new fork! If you have proof of purchase then give mojo a quick ring tell them that this is what's happend they will tell you to return the fork and you'll have a new csu fitted under warranty. Hopefully it wil go again on my forks so I can have some new kashima coated ones next year!
