i’m changing my fsa moto x crankset for a xt one,is it as easy as removing non drive side arm then just sliding drive side out? then just doing everything in reverse for installing xt ones? thanks.

It’s not much more complex than that – but to be sure, have a look at the Park Tool website – this should take you to the page for crank removal / installation.

It’s on occasions such as these (Park website in one hand, oily rag / bike part etc in t’other) that the only thing I regret about my MacBook is that the keyboard is white…! 😆
