plenty off people up at cragg quarry today…havent seen so many people up there before…lol 😉
rather dusty too… proper dry abit skiddy in places, (could have done with different tyres on really. quite alot of shale around on the tracks and you really do have to ‘work at it’ to get the ‘best out’ of the riding there.’…young ‘Mr Sorrel’ and ‘Ed 0x’ make it look soooooo easy on the video…
its a shame some of the tracks arent abit like the ‘Rock garden area’ like at ‘Lee quarry’, cos cragg quarry is supposed to be fast singletrack with that zippy feel about it…. sometimes you wanna go fast but theres too much shaley bits in there…… maybe im still alittle tired from my 47 miler last week (lol) and what a scorching day .makes a change from the usual blustery winds 😉
