Decided to change a few components on a Specialized Ruby road bike. Took the gear guide off the bottom bracket and when trying to screw it back on it wouldnt, and its appears all corroded inside. Took it back to specialized and they have said they have attached the gear guide by using a rivet. Just wondered if I should be worried about anything else? The area around the bottom bracket looked ok.
