just wanted to share this from a colleague on the phone to a client today:

“There’s lots of food cooking but no meals being served!”

    I mean, WTF???????

Northwind You’ll go far with that advice Quality 😉

One of my bosses used to say the more furniture
that goes out that door the more you’ll be paid.
But i used to make all the prototypes and furniture
for the exhibitions, and train the apprentices.?

So I told him to find a better salesman

This is what’s known as metaphor. It can actually be fun, you should learn to enjoy language 🙂

I like that, it describes the dept I work in perfectly. I will use it in a meeting before the end of the week

As someone once said to me, “I’m happy to honeybee on that”

I still have no idea what he meant.

My now ex-boss has an icon on his skype with the word “Thinking” floating above a box with the words “the box” on it. I’m not sure he understands how “inside the box” telling everyone to think “outside the box” is.

Northwind I left when they asked me to fill out a time sheet for taking out a wooden splinter
in my hand, I was only to help out a friends company over an holiday period.

If anyone asks me to “drill down” into the data once more I will not be responsible for my actions. I can say this as I think it is 110% untraceable to the shower who currently pay me a pittance. 😆
