    Can anyone suggest a book about cooking fish, please? A simple book, or one that starts with simple recipies would be preferred.

    Thanks, johndoh, I do something similar already. I think colcannon makes a betterer topping though, and without crisps.

    This is very good book, as it takes you through the fish, and then suggests different recipes for those (and similar types). If you’re buying what’s fresh in the fishmongers (supermarket…), it’s probably the best way around.

    Also take you through which ones not to eat, and suggests more sustainable alternatives.

    Also had this one, which i guess follows the same sort of pattern.

    Thanks, pete, I’ll look for the Sophie Grigson. Her dad was a good writer, too.
